About Cognitive Stimulation Therapy Australia

Cognitive Stimulation Therapy Australia is an Incorporated Association in accordance with the Associations Incorporations Act 1991 (ACT). The Association is listed in the Public Register and has adopted the Model Rules in accordance with the Associations Incorporation Regulation 2023.

 

The objective of the Association is to create a point of connection for people interested in delivering, progressing or researching Cognitive Stimulation Therapy in Australia. The Association is led by an Executive Committee consisting of researchers, policy and practice specialists in the field of dementia care and support. The voluntary work of the Executive Committee is driven by a commitment to improving outcomes for people living with dementia and their supporters in all areas of Australia.

Cognitive Stimulation Therapy Australia is calling for interested members of the CST Working Group to apply to be members of CST Australia in 2026. Please contact the Secretary info@cstaustralia.com for more information.

 

The Cognitive Stimulation Therapy Australia website is an initiative of the Australian CST Working Group. The working group was established in 2022 to improve awareness of CST in Australia and to increase access to CST in all parts of the country. The working group provides a central point of contact for information and support, and connects practitioners, researchers and others across a wide range of settings delivering or interested in delivering CST. The working group meets online every two months and is open to anyone with an interest in CST in Australia.
